Statiron DS3 portable precision static electricity measuring instrument with digital display, capable of measuring the potential of a charged object without touching it. It measures static electricity by causing the electric field that the detecting electrode receives to vary, thus converting it into AC voltage. It uses an oscillating type chopper that utilizes a tuning fork.
Features
- DS3 has a sensor head with a size of 12X18x93 mm(WxHxD), which is much smaller than that of the conventional device.
- Can be selected from AC (through an AC adapter) or DC (by built-in battery).
- With output terminal, DS3 can be connected to an external device such as a recorder.
- If the detected value should surpass the predetermined voltage. the device will output an alarm signal to the red LED (for warning) and the buzzer contact (to the built-in alarm units).
- At the time of the purchase of the unit, the setting range can be selected
from 0 to ± 1.999 kV (type A) or 0 to ± 19.99 kV (type B). |
